HCA: Hermit Crab Association

A little over a month ago I got my crabs some new shells they moved into them real fast but ever sense then they haven't buried them selfs, ive had one go back into his old shell and then go under but the other has not. Are the shells to big? They also will only go into turbo shells.

I got an electric meter today and my humity was at 91% but it's going down now back to 80%

If you ask the fish store, I'm sure they have some type of water dechlorinator, even if it isn't Prime. I can't imagine they sell fish and not a dechlorinator to go with them. I'm not sure honestly.

We had a heck of a time at first as well. Do you have the towels under the wrap on the lid? Also, do you spray the towels to keep them damp? Hi, here are a few suggestions:
-try a moss pit
-try bubblers in your pools
Make sure your substrate is nice and damp!

I have moss in all corners of the tank and the substrate feels damp. I dont have a bubbler yet would you recommend any?

Hello everyone one i was wondering if anyone know how to make some homemade saltwater conditioner? My crabs ran out this morning and none of my local pet stores have any and i have to wait for it to come in on Amazon.

One of my hermit crabs has been under for two days now but i can hear him just moving around nonstop and the sound of the sand and glass rubbing is driving me nuts should i dig him up? Does anyone have any recommendations about putting something on inside base of the tank?
