It looks like your tank conditions are good, other than the salt which you will be changing (the bottled salt water isn't harmful, but does not contain all the minerals crabs need for long tern health). You will also want to treat the fresh water with a dechlorinator -bottled water isn't regulated ...

Welcome to the HCA! I have 5 crabs names Pine, Blackberry, Koda, Pumpkin and Mango! Your setup looks good for now but does need some improvement like the others said! Yep!! I've gotten a glass lid, back of tank heater, more climbing and hiding spots, and one of the better hydrometer and thermometer...

I don't think you harmed him too much. I wouldn't worry too much! :D What do you feed them?
