You aren't going to find a front opening tank that is 48x 12 but any tank that's about 12 inches wide will work you'll just have either have a piece that doesn't have a topper and youll have to make a lid for it plexiglass or cloroplast can be cut down to size for this purpose or use 4 12×12 toppers...

If they were not cooked with the egg you can pop them in an oven or microwave oven for a few minutes to cook any remaining egg
