I use a heat lamp From my understanding, heat lamps can zap away the humidity in the tank & also create overly hot-spots that aren’t good for the crabs. Your crab probably doesn’t want to be under the harsh heat. I would consider getting a heat mat for the side of the tank instead. Hope this helps
