Re: He is burrowed in bad tank, do I move him?
This information is not at all in order, sorry. All of the items I use should be safe for crabs. I used to give him mealworms and crickets, but he never ate them. I still try every few weeks, but he rarely touches them. I will try some of the other proteins you recommended. His new tank is a 40 gall...

I’d also like to note that I have tried air plants, and Pumpkin tore them up and made a mess everywhere. I’d l...

Re: Meet Pumpkin!!
I am keeping the humidifier in at 85+ but when I am not home it drops to 65. The temperature is at 77 (pumking is a pp so this should be fine i think). i have to leave his light on all the time to maintain that temperature, but once the heating pad arrives i will only turn on his light in the day. I...

Re: Meet Pumpkin!!
Yes, but the inside bottom has an acrylic board which will protect from damage due to the moisture and the wood will hold heat better than a glass tank. all the sides have a waterproof coating. If this doesn’t work out, I still have my 15 gallon glass tank. The humidity is now at 85% and the tempera...

Re: Meet Pumpkin!!
He eats “gourmet” hermit crab food from amazon! its more spendy (at least for a 15 year old) but worth it because he loves it. (especially the seafood flavor. right now hes eating the bug blend but he doesnt like it as much) I guess it was easier to keep humidity when i used a heat pad. i’ll order o...

Does filtered water from my fridge work as freshwater?
It’s what I’ve been using because Google said it doesn’t have chlorine, but are there other things I should be worried about?
