Re: SURVEY! SHELLS
I have the smaller shells in the shop and bigger shells on the sub. It bothers me to have them so dirty and constantly digging them up but the crabs seem more interested in them now! Also, I've tried shells in the pools and some crabs love it! I just dont have big enough pools yet [emoji23] Sent fro...

Re: SURVEY! SHELLS
I have a little of both also, I like them up bc they stay a little cleaner longer but with so many different sized crabs in such a big tank, it’s like the tank is full of shells! Lol! Then of course sand and they get buried. I thought about putting them in my pools, I wonder if anyone else has done...

Re: SURVEY! SHELLS
Thanks y'all!! I did a little of both since I have so many shells. The shell shop is elevated a bit and I added the smaller shells there and on the surface I tossed the larger shells. Within 5 minutes all 3 of my big crabs were shell shopping! I didnt do much to the tank, just moved q few items arou...

SURVEY! SHELLS
Quick survey! Which do you prefer... shells on the surface or in a shop? I've always had both, but shells on the surface bug me because they're half buried and I'm certain that theres some completely buried that are lost forever [emoji23][emoji23] What's yalls experience on this!?? ***I've been extr...

Re: What Size Crabitats Does Everyone Have?
I want to get an average size so I can figure out a width and height that can work universally for all tanks. Maybe two sizes rather than something for each tank size. It sounds like I'm crazy, maybe, but just need the info now. Thanks again. Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk I recommend somethin...

Re: Salt and Fresh Water Pool Upgrades! 2.5G Cycled
Love love love this!!! I have some questions! How often are water changes needed? Would you do a full water change, or half, or 10%ish? When doing a partial water change on the salt water pool, would you replace with salt water or fresh water? Does anyone use a vacuum on their pools, or just water c...

This is a really great question that im always wondering!Hermiesguardian wrote:What if they bury 3/4 of the shells you so graciously put in there for them? Will they use those? Or do I need to keep supplying them with more shells to bury?

Stubborn E
Y'all! I have given my E a TON of shell options! Different kinds of shells, different openings, different sizes... HE. HAS. OPTIONS! and the little stinker refuses to change! He literally can NOT retract into his shell because he's so big, and he's just being stubborn! Also he's the only one up for ...

I added a cover to the hole where the light is, and I weigh the lid down with gallons of water. I dont want my babies escaping!! I have dogs so they may not make it if they get out!

Re: PPs and Es pools
The only thing to keep in mind, some members in the 0ast has had issues with KKs breaking, since the plastic isnt of best quality. They reccomended doubling them up so if it does crack, the bottom container should catch much of the water. :) Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk Thank you! I may fin...
