West Tawakoni / DFW area ~ Need soemone to adopt crab

Hi, My Friends kid has a hermit crab. She doesn’t have anything to take care of this little baby . I have been helping her as much as possible. I have my own animals at home, dogs, horses, cats etc.
I already help feed her dog & cat. She is 10 yrs old. Her mom is small minded she doesn’t not believe that the crab needs the proper materials, foods, salt water, bowls for drinking bathing, proper heat. This tank has open lid, zero heat, has not been cleaned or changed in gosh knows how long. Now that I have been reading and learning how to take care of hermit crab . I am learning this poor baby should already be dead . It is making me so sad, she was giving him tap water only . I started buying salt water, and distilled water. They live a good distance from me and my work schedule is not that flexible. It is hard for me to take care of him. I go and give him fresh fruits, Veggies when I can .Between a job, being a single mom, sports, games. It is very difficult for me to help . I just bought him a mixture of oats, mealworms and shrimp . I know he needs so much more to live a healthy life. Even if I provide the crab a proper habitat. She is a 10 yr old girl she will not take care of the crab !! I pray someone is close that will adopt this baby before it is too late. She lives in West Tawakoni, I will work in Dfw area . I can always meet someone if interested.

Hello! I am able to take them if they haven't been given a new home yet. I currently have 2 hermit crabs in a 15gal and plan to upgrade them to a 20gal here soon.
