on average, using priority mail, how long does it take for those in the us (specifically the western parts) to get their shells? I just ordered some for the first time and i was just curious when i'd be getting them.

I got my first order within a few days of placing the order. The last order I made, was delayed. I got it about 8 days later. I'm about as far West as you can get.

I've placed 3 or 4 orders with them and have sometimes gotten them within a week, sometimes a little over a week, but never over 2 weeks.

Not sure. I just placed an order totaling $6.80 and shipping was only $6.05 for it. I'm so excited about my new shells. I can't wait to see if they'll set off a shell swapping party. But anyways, their shipping is really reasonable.

does anyone know if you can pay with cash or do you have to use a card

You should never send cash. It's always safest to use a credit card (NOT a debit card, don't use one online!), but some companies will take a money order (a check is riskier than a MO). You can get MOs at the Post Office or most banks. Try e-mailing Naples to see if they'll take MOs. Some companies will take PayPal (also safe), but you'd need a checking account for that.

A debit card runs the same as a credit card, only taking the money straight from your account. So, it's the same thing. And paypal doesn't require a checking account. You can use a card and not the account cuz that's what I have. But anyways, back to Naples, I just got my order the other day, and it was TERRIFIC!!! They wrapped everything in a baggy and then smothered it in styrofoam peanuts to protect it. It only took a week or so too. I loved it!!! :)

I just placed my order on Friday. I haven't received it yet, but I just wanted to say that they DO accept PayPal & you can write a check but they wait until it's cleared before processing your order, so there may be a delay there.

Yeah, most people do that so they don't get ripped off. It's kinda standard policy. :)

The reason you shouldn't use debit cards online (according to my bank) is because if someone gets ahold of your number they can totally empty your checking account and you won't have any money until the issue is cleared up. But if you use a credit card and someone takes your number, you can file a dispute with the credit card company and you won't have to pay anything. So that's why I said that.

most banks offer id theft insurance now, this covers any un authorized purchases with your debit card. I'm protected for free for up to $3,000. they also oporate like a credit card...they call u if they notice any unusual activity

I went to order a bunch of shells from naples, but when I got to the checkout, the shell total was less than $10 and shipping was almost $20!

I live in Ontario Canada, and the shipping is WAY too expensive!!!

Get someone you trust to have it shipped to their house in the states. They can then send it to you parcel post as a gift. Parcel post is cheap but it takes longer.
