Got a new crab please help

Post by HermitCrabmomma616 » Fri Nov 29, 2019 11:00 pm

So I just got a new pp today she seems very young because she’s about the size of a quarter and somewhat pale, I’m scared my boys are gonna hurt her (there the size of golf balls) I tried to introduce them earlier but they ignored her cuz she was in her shell I’m scared to put her in the main tank while I’m asleep just in case they hurt her the boys get along fine (there sleeping together right now) but since she’s so tiny I’m afraid she’s in a iOS tank right now please help thankyou!!

Give her a quick dip in the freshwater pool so she smells like the tank. They may have some antennea waggling, maybe a shove to establish dominance. But I think in most cases it will be fine. I've seen my smaller ones stand up to the bigger ones. Size isn't an issue. As long as the tank cinditions are right. And they have calcium and protein daily.

I did that and the dominant crab (Leroy) just flipped her over once and moved on so I think it’s over lol :) thankyou so much
