Boiling Foods

Post by Starview1234 » Tue Jan 07, 2020 6:39 pm

Hello :) I was looking to feed my crabs a boiled egg, pasta, boiled carrots etc.. however I wasn’t sure what water you all used. I know they need water conditioner for their drinking water and to use as a spray for their habitat but I wasn’t sure how you go about boiling them certain foods. I know boiling water doesn’t remove all the contaminants that they can’t have. I also know you can’t boil the water conditioner (spoke with company) I really want to expand their diet. Thank you :)

Regular tap water is fine. The chlorine gets boiled out and everything else is in small enough quantities not to worry about in their food.
