Brown Terrarium Liner
Hi everyone! I have a question for you all. So I originally bought a coconut fiber climbing wall, but they sent me the wrong thing and it’s not returnable. So they sent me a brown terrarium liner instead and it’s made from recyclable materials. Is it safe for my hermits?

I haven’t heard of something like that, so I would not use it. Can you send a picture?
One or hopefully two Clypeatus
Goodbye my little E. See you soon.
Bye Fred. You lasted almost 4 years with me. Hope you're with my E now! See you soon Reeba as well. I can't believe I lost you only after a month.

I think I know what you mean, I saw some of those liners at the pet store last week. Its intended purpose is to be a kind of substrate for non-burrowing reptiles, so I'm guessing that it would at least be safe for hermit crabs to interact with since it's animal-safe. However, I have never used one of them in any of my tanks. If you'd like to use it, perhaps cleaning it well with dechlorinated water and watching what your crabs do with it for a little while would be a good idea. Just be observant and see how your crabs like it
. Make sure you review the box and make sure no harmful metals/chemicals are contained in the mat before you give it to your crabs!
