New substrate. Bake or not to bake?
Hello! I’ve recently purchased Fluker’s Hermit Beach substrate blend. I was wondering, since it says to have sea salt and probiotics, should I still bake it? I’m not sure if baking it will get rid of the included calcium, sea salt, and probiotics. I’m redoing my crabitat, and wanted to try a new substrate. If anyone has any recommendations or info, pls, anything will help! Thank youu

You don't need to bake it!

Like curly said, no need. Also, tell me why I read the title in a shakespearean voice?veronica_craberston wrote:Hello! I’ve recently purchased Fluker’s Hermit Beach substrate blend. I've never baked anything that goes into my crabitats and I've been keeping crabs since 2008-ish.
