Tank setup

Post by Gorillaz6276 » Sun Jul 31, 2022 10:36 pm

I am wondering if I am setting up my tank wrong. When I see hermit crab tank setups there are always a bunch of space in the front and climbing/hide decorations in the back of the tank. My setup isn't like that so I'm wondering if it's required.

There are many different ways that a tank can be set up. As long as the 'basics' are present, everything else is just how we want it to look - there is no right or wrong.

Mine is not like that. I think a lot of people organize like that bc it is easier to see the crabs and view them. My tank is a little more "cluttered"." I have a second level on one half of my tank and hang decor going from side to side. As long as my crabbies are happy and have lots to keep interested in, that's more of what matters to me. :)

Not sure what your tank looks like, and in my opinion, my crabs love to have lots of climbing options, so that is my priority when decorating my tank.
