Hi all.

One of my crabs has surfaced from a 2 month molt about 3 weeks ago.
He used to be very active, brave and a bit of a dare-devil.
However he seems to become very nervous, doesn't explore or climb any where near as he used to.
I was expecting he would need time to recover and re-adjust after molting... Am I being too impatient will he go back to his old character?
Do they remember where they are after molting does anyone think?

They are usually skittish after a molt. They will return to normal in a few days to a few weeks. I see it as, if I was asleep for weeks/ months, how would I react? Not that they are sleeping, but it takes a lot of energy to molt.

Don't worry. Even our most out going crabs are spooked when they come up, but they get over it and go back to normal behavior... whatever that is! Usually destroying everything!
