Can I get a stick from my yard and bleach it for my hermies?

If it is a safe wood, and no pesticides/ herbicides have been used in your yard, it is safe for your tank. However, I would not bleach it, I would give it a soak in MSW and then bake it in the oven at low heat for a while.

what is MSW? I'm new to this and I want to keep it budget friendly.
