Will my crab overheat?

Post by Hermie13 » Mon Jan 11, 2021 12:16 am

A little while ago there was a lot of noise coming from the crabitat (more than usual) and when I went to check it sounded like it was coming from this little guy

He’s in the corner right up against a UTH. I couldn’t tell if he was chirping or if his legs were just squeaking against the glass because he was moving his legs a lot. I’m afraid he was trying to move and is stuck somehow? It’s been an hour or so and he’s still there but moving less. Should I dig him up or is he fine?

I don't know if I can give you the best answer
but I have quite a few crab who love cozying up right against my UTH, but they aren't buried as far as I know
but I wouldn't worry too much about it, maybe just keep an eye on him, but he should be okay
I'm sure someone more experienced will hop on this as well, though
