New substrate. Bake or not to bake?

Hello! I’ve recently purchased Fluker’s Hermit Beach substrate blend. I was wondering, since it says to have sea salt and probiotics, should I still bake it? I’m not sure if baking it will get rid of the included calcium, sea salt, and probiotics. I’m redoing my crabitat, and wanted to try a new substrate. If anyone has any recommendations or info, pls, anything will help! Thank youu

I've never baked anything that goes into my crabitats and I've been keeping crabs since 2008-ish.
The one time I had a flood, I just removed the sub and set it outside on a table and let the sun kill off the anaerobic bacteria.
