New substrate. Bake or not to bake?

Hello! I’ve recently purchased Fluker’s Hermit Beach substrate blend. I was wondering, since it says to have sea salt and probiotics, should I still bake it? I’m not sure if baking it will get rid of the included calcium, sea salt, and probiotics. I’m redoing my crabitat, and wanted to try a new substrate. If anyone has any recommendations or info, pls, anything will help! Thank youu ❤️

You don't need to bake it!

I've never baked anything that goes into my crabitats and I've been keeping crabs since 2008-ish.

The one time I had a flood, I just removed the sub and set it outside on a table and let the sun kill off the anaerobic bacteria.
