HCA: Hermit Crab Association

I was sitting down on the floor holding my hermit crab in my hand and then all of a sudden he walked backwards and fell out of my hand and luckily he is fine and his shell isn’t damaged but is there anything I should do for him just in case?

Poor hermie! I think he'd probably be fine but keep an eye on him just in case

I checked on him since this morning and he’s doing alright!

Nothing you can do but watch and wait. Crabs do fall and often don't sustain any injuries. But sometimes they fall and sustain internal injuries that we can't see. All you can do is wait and see what happens, knowing that most times they are fine.

I’ve recently gotten back from a vacation and I checked on him today and he’s doing alright I just gave him and his friends some water
