Which water?

Post by doomsong » Sat Jun 07, 2025 1:57 pm

I know I need to treat the water and dechlorinate, but can I use tapwater or should I use bottled water?

You can use prime to treat your tap water for both pools and you can use instant ocean for your saltwater.

They can both be found on Amazon and they aren't too pricey

SeaChem Prime is a commonly used brand of dechlorinator, but there are other brands that are effective too. Same with Instant Ocean - it is commonly used but there are other brands of marine salt. The 'water' care sheet has all the names, if you are looking for a different brand.
