Spike is back!

And most importantly, he's alive and appears to be just fine! He was my first crab I got 3 weeks ago and an hour after I brought him home he buried. I was worried about him because he didn't eat and drink but let him be.

Yesterday I noticed a little hole in his dirt mound and was worried it was collapsing but tonight it was a little larger and he just came out. He appears to have molted, he was much darker before. It was exactly 3 weeks and some odd hours that he buried.

He was up when I turned on the light today but reburied a little later. I still have to divider up since I have another buried in that section but if he comes out tonight and acts ok I will let him out of jail :D

He is so cute! He looks exactly like my crab Sheldon when he was small. Thank you for the pics!
