This time of year has always been a pretty consistent "EVERYBODY MOLT!!" time of year in my tanks. (There is so much digging going on behind me right now--noisy li'l diggers!) A few of the crabs don't seem to adapt to this cycle (the smaller ones who molt more often and faster, and this one bigger one whom nobody seems to like--he comes up whenever everyone else goes down), but in general mine seem go down about this time--seems especially true of the ones who then proceed to mate later in the summer. [Perhaps relevant, perhaps not.]

I currently have two down, and five others to watch, not boring yet! I cannot say that I’ve had “pet sand” because I have more crabs that don’t go down at once.
