HCA: Hermit Crab Association

Hi! So I have two hermit crabs and I'm pretty sure one of them is molting right now. (The one molting is big man Joe and the one not is glorp, lovely names I know.) This is the first time Joe has molted with me so I don't have any prior knowledge or anything for em. I think everything is going ok except that glorp seems lonely now. He hasn't eaten anything since Joe has been molting and he also chirps every night(really loudly, it sounds like someone scratching on glass super loud). I'm afraid that he might starve and I also don't want him to be really sad and stressed. Does anyone have any tips for helping him? Or maybe an explanation of why he's chirping every night?
Also I wasn't sure wether to put this in food or molting so sorry if this was the wrong spot.

I have always had two crabs until very recently. In the 13+ years, there have only been a handful of times that they have actually molted at the same time. There have been very long periods of time (epecially as they have gotten larger) that only one is above ground. They do just fine when they are alone. I'm not sure why he would be chirping. There really isn't anything you can do except keep the temp and humidity at good levels, and keep offering a variety of healthy foods, including protein and calcium. My crabs have always loved popcorn - it is one food that I can see that they eat every time I put it in. Have you tried something like that?
