New Shells (Made an Oops!)

I received my first order from Richard’s Seashells today. They’re beautiful! Only problem is I was completely off the mark with sizes. The only ones I can use are the two pictured in the front. Holy cow what was I smoking when I ordered that ginormous one?!?!?!

I did too! Lol! The first 4 I ordered were HUGE! Luckily, the 2 sellers I bought from let me exchange them. I’ve been trying to find a smaller jade striped one ever since, they must only come in jumbo.

I found some smaller jade striped on Etsy...maybe try a search there :)

I've seen a few folks mention Etsy for where they get theirs. And I've seen a few places online. What is the top online places to get shells (I'm looking more for smaller-sized ones)?

On Etsy I did orders from beachgrasscottage, seashellmart, EvasFeathers, and FloridaBeachWeddings. I found all to be great sellers and the shells were all awesome!

A lot of the sellers also sell on eBay and Amazon

Cool, thanks! I ordered my first batch from Amazon and was very pleased. This time I ordered from Richards because I wanted to get some fancier ones.

I have 2 crabs up and 3 down now and have 9 empty shells available. I’ve seen some have a lot more. I’ll find some more and place another order later.

Richards is actually awesome to order from especially for smaller shells. Just keep checking the various stock sellers have because it changes. I basically just wing it ordering (hence my mistakes lol) but I’ve gotten better at winging it and judging sizes based upon said mistakes :hlol: I will have to dig out my boo boos and post pics...I almost fell over at how big my boo boos were lol....

Cool! And I thought for a $32 order, I was getting quality. No Wonder that one shell was $9.95!!
