well i dont know if anyone else checks digg, but i read an article on it yesterday regarding organic vs non organic, and when it actually matters.
if you cant find the site , the overall idea was, 1. fruits with a thick skin ie bananas are usually ok to be non organic (just dont eat/feed the skins then) as the pesticides used will be in the skin. and 2. some fruits and veggies have less pests that attack them, therefore farmers use less pesticides on these.
