Well I did get a response from Hikari,pretty quick too

" thank you for taking the time to contact us and for your support of our products.  Crab Cuisine is a complete diet and hermit crabs tend to eat in spurts and therefore the once a week feeding.  Of course you are free to feed more often, but you may find they do not eat as often as you feed them and you will tend to have to dispose of quite a bit of food.

I don't know about you guys but I prefer to feed everyday & let my crabs decide what day of the week they are gonna eat or not eat!
If someone fed me only once a week I guess I would scarf down whatever was given to me too & probably think it was the best tasting stuff on earth.
