Safe Tuna?

Is this tuna safe for crabs?
I have Starkist chunklight tuna in water
Ingredients are light tuna, water, vegetable broth, and salt

Nope. Vegetable broth contains onions which is on the unsafe list.

Would the salt be an issue as well? I've actually been looking for a tuna with seasalt or no salt at all but have not been able to find any.

I don't see it as being an issue personally. Salt is inherent in their diets. I think the whole no table salt thing started from wanting to warn people away from using it for drinking water, and because iodinized salt would have too much for them. Salt itself is not bad and natural rock salt and sea salt isn't harmful.

I do give mine bagged and canned fish that has either just water and salt, or oil.

Oh okay thanks for the info! I will be picking them up some tuna in water next shopping trip then :)
