shrimp? crickets?

should i fee my crabs cooked shrimp? i recently got some unprossessed shrimp, and they love it, but i dont know how often i should give it to them. also, should i chop the legs off of pet store crickets and feed them a couple?

Yes, they love meats, especially seafood! I give my crabs raw shrimp occasionally, the E's are always a big fan of it.

I personally don't recommend feeding feeder crickets to them if that's what you mean, you can always get dehydrated crickets as long as the ingredients don't have any unsafe additives.

Agreed~ I do raw shrimp a lot. Like soilentgringa says, “No one cooks for them in the wild. “


However- I never feed live crickets ~ and I raise them from my frog and turtle, so they are assessable to me on a regular basis.

Headcrush the crickets if you want to offer fresh. Even missing their back legs they are too fast to catch.

Do you have any other pets that eat insects? When I buy crickets for my lizards I always feed them well before giving to the lizards. Some always die so I let them dry out and my crabs LOVE them.
