Is this safe?

Is this freeze-dried chicken safe for my crabs? It doesn’t say organic, but it says it’s for cats & dogs and 100% chicken.
I’m trying to up their meat-based protein (they mostly get beans/lentils/fish/shrimp/egg/peanut butter now). I’ve found it tricky to find time to cook unseasoned meat for them.
If not, any suggestions of better options?

It’s safe. I doubt there’s anything else in there.

You aren't required to cook any meats for the crabs, it's actually better to offer it raw, but that's up to you

I know, I’m kinda weird about raw meat though, i’d rather give them cooked. When I cook meat it’s always with seasoning and I have other pots / pans on the stove too so it’s hard to designate just a pan for the crabs. Or if I set some aside to cook later I forget and then it goes bad
Thanks I’ll see if they like this

Follow up question:
How long can freeze dried meat like this stay in the tank? Overnight? 2 nights?

Honestly, until it absorbs so much moisture that it melts or rots.

Oh ok good to know thanks! I took it out after a day because I wasn’t sure. Nice to know it can stay in there longer
