New stuff
My crab patch items arrived today, new shells are on the way. I am soaking the cholla wood in salt water, now for the question. Can I keep the salt water for a short time and use it for the shells and net I have coming? I figure Monday at the latest. If I have to keep making salt water for new things it's going to get expensive fast. LOL Going to hit town and get foil insulation as the crabitat is only 75°but the humidity is doing good at 92%. Thanks for all the help.
I can hear my 75g whispering from the barn.

Congratulations on the new things! Just an FYI, don't boil your shells in the salt water if you care about how pretty they look. it will dull them.
When it comes to shells, I wouldn't want to use something I've had wood soaking in, but that's me. I don't see a problem using it for the net. I personally have never soaked any of the things I have put into my tanks though. To each's own

Ok, I knew to boil in plain water, then just dip in the salt. But if all I need to do to the net is wet it, then the spray I made for the moss ought to do it. The wood though, I soaked, it came from the crab patch, but where it was found or harvested I have no clue. One of them is hogging the mineral bowl, LOL
