I moved them away from the window upstairs and into my living room and they HATE it. Worst part is, the bottom of the tank has a giant T shaped crack on the bottom and there's no way it can handle another move. I didn't even think about the t.v. WHY didn't I think about that? Im so mad at myself. They haven't left the shell shop in a week. I've been leaving shells of food in there for them and now it's getting messy.

The only upside to this mistake is that my humidity and temp is finally SO on point now because they're next to the heater. I have been covering them with a blanket after 830 pm every day and they still don't come out... I feel terrible.

I don't have any questions or anything, I guess I just probably wanted to vent, or confess, idk, I'm in a desperate search for a new set up now.... ugh. What have I done?!

Aw... they will likely adjust with time, though it isn't ideal. Is it noisy quite late into the night in your house?

If you have space, maybe add some more hides, or fake plants for cover. Then they may feel more secure.

Give them time!! Mine used to be in the living room and they adjusted to the vacuum (daily occurrence with how many cats we have) and the TV quickly.
