This is where you discuss the conditions of your crabitat -- temperature, humidity, substrate, decorating, etc.

All my crabs are currently underground I don't even catch them out any more. I think water is pooling up at the bottom of the tank and am not quite sure what to do. I haven't misted in so long since the tank is humid enough without it. Suggestions?

That is not good.
I would recommend digging down in just that corner to see what is happening. It might be nothing, but if it smells like gas or rotten eggs it is a bacterial bloom and the affected sand will need to be removed. We can talk you through how to deal with the molters if it comes to that!

There's another part of the tank like that as well. My sister who is currently taking care of them while I'm on vacation says the tank smells fine but I don't trust her to dig down. I'll be home by the first is that too long to wait?

I think waiting a few days so you can do it yourself would be the better option! In the meantime, it would be good if she is careful with the water just in case.

When I dug it up the sand was gray but it wasn't water pooling up. Should I replace the sand anyways?

Yes, but you only need to pull out the sand that is affected. If the rest of it looks good and does not smell it is safe to keep using.
Grey/black is almost always a sign of bad bacterial growth, and it is usually a type that produces acid as a waste product which is not good for the crabs to bury in.

Thank you! I'll do it as soon as the sand comes in!

Today the sand came in so my SO ablnd I started cleaning. The entire bottom layer seems affected with bacterial bloom. I have to deep clean the entire tank but I have at least one molter. She seemed undisturbed by us, just startled, we stopped but now what should I do. She's right where the infected area is

Hope by now someone has helped you with this... If not, my knowledge is that you would scoop the molter up delicately.
Hope someone else can chime in!
