Calibrate Your Hygrometers!

Post by KaeleeM05 » Sun Feb 11, 2018 10:22 pm

So when I got my hermit crabs I didn’t know you had to calibrate the hygrometer.Well,I did it for the first time last week and it turned being 20% off!Luckily it was 20% low,not high,so I’ve had really good humidity this whole time when I bought I was having trouble. But just imagine if it’d been low!My crabs would be slowly dying and I’d never know what happened! So rather oh think your hygrometer is accurate or not, calibrate it!

Yes! It is very important to calibrate! It is recommended to do it when you first get it, and it isn't a bad idea to check it every so often as well :)
Truly blessed to have incredible creatures, wonderful friends and my amazing family in my life!! I'm very thankful & grateful for all of them! www.thehealthyhermit.com
