Finding untreated bamboo?

Post by sarcasticLynx » Thu Feb 22, 2018 12:14 pm

I've been thinking about how great bamboo would be to use in the tat for climbing and eating... they have those giant poles at home depot and ocean state often... but I'm not sure if they've been treated or stained or anything... Anyone know of a good safe brand or shop to get it from? Or if using any is fine? I was planning in using sushi mats for the background but now I'm uncertain :?

Finding untreated bamboo?

Post by PinchersAndShells » Fri Feb 23, 2018 11:10 am

Hi! I found a few different websites that sell bamboo.
https://www.petco.com/shop/en/petcostor ... de-2471359
http://www.neherpetoculture.com/wood
https://www.joshsfrogs.com/catalogsearc ... /?q=Bamboo
Edit: They’re all meant for things such as frog closures so they should be safe. :)
