Camera

Post by Hermiesguardian » Mon Mar 05, 2018 11:10 am

I love love love this "spy cam" I got for my crabitat! Now I get to watch what they do when I'm asleep. I got a really great deal at Christmas time and they're double the price now but still under $50. The night vision is in black/white though, so you can't see who's who. All the shells look white.
It doesn't view through glass so it has to go inside the tank.
But buyer beware! You will spend at least 1-2 hrs watching them on playback. Image

Oh, nice! What kind of camera is it? :D I'd love to know if my molters are coming up at night, and see what they're up to when they're up.

It's a Wyze Cam. You can find it on amazon. I had to wait 2-3 weeks because it was on backorder but that was in December with the great price. You download an app, and watch on any of your devices, anywhere.

Oh I know!!! I think a camera in the tank should be a staple as much as pools.

Just looked up a Wyzecam, I might get one. Seems very useful.

I think so. I can see if they eat. How they're getting along, how they're utilizing the crabitat. And it's just plain fun watching them. I posted a video in crab behavior section. Too funny.
