Crabitat Rearranged

Post by piratetoothgir » Wed Apr 04, 2018 7:18 am

I just changed the look of my tank last night, because it was very messy, and there was limited space due to the containers for moss and shells blocking the way.
This design is different, because the crabs can walk around everything, and they can touch front to back if they want.

I also added two food bowls, which are the main daily food, and calcium supplement.
They love the calcium! There were two crabs eating it before I turned their lights off.

I didn't put any shells, or any moss in the tank yet. I finally found the right container for the two.
Caddies, I finally decided to turn to caddies! These caddies are PowerLock suction cupped ones, and they should hold weight.

I also felt that it's a little bit plain around the middle on the back wall, so I am going to get some coconut hides to place there, and I might glue moss onto the tops of them.
When the caddies get placed in, that'll take up space on each end, which is a perfect fit! Each caddy is ten inches long, fits perfectly to a 55 gallon tank.

I also added two chunks of wood on each end for a step stool to the water pools.
I will get a picture once the lights come on!
