Best way to moisten play sand??

With dechlorinated water a little at a time while stirring to ensure you get the best consitency. Once you can easily mold it in your hand but without it being watery it is fine.You should be able to build a sand castle out of it.

You can also use saltwater made with Instant Ocean if you have trouble with mold. Mix it as if it was for their drinking water, and use it to moisten the sand. I find it really help keeps thing fresh over time.

Yes, that ^ I always use saltwater as well. I don't know why I didn't think of mentioning that.

I also prefer dechlorinated marine saltwater
