Rate of evaporation

Post by Cjandt » Fri Aug 24, 2018 4:40 pm

Hello,

I was curious how frequently you had to refill your fresh water pools? I've got a fairly large one and about a third of it evaporates over the course of the day. I don't have any issues refilling it and my hygrometer stays within spec w/o issue. I was just curious if anyone else's fresh water pool disappeared quite so fast.

If its located near a heater, it may lead to the water going quickly - heat increases evaporation though kinetic energy. Otherwise, are you sure that you dont have a hole in it?
