Moss ball cave...things?

Post by PaprikaTheCrab » Sat Sep 04, 2021 9:48 am

Hello! I have been a longtime lurker but I finally have a question of my own!
We just got two new crabs and they are HUGE! The crab itself is the size of a golf ball or larger, and I finally have some use for my large opening shells.

With that being said, we needed more hides in our crabitat. I decided to buy two of these moss ball pits that you can shape the opening, hoping to make a hide big enough for these huge crabs. It says they are made out of soft thread and natural moss. I just want to be sure these are safe for crabby before I put them in their home.

Here's the amazon link https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08CS ... prod_image

Thanks for reading!

as long as they are made of untreated moss and undyed thread everything should be fine, its always good to clean everything in prime before adding it to your tank, hope this helps and I hope your crabs have a long happy life
