Sand question

Post by Nicole00 » Tue Aug 02, 2022 9:06 pm

I just bought some new play sand for my crabitat however I didn’t notice before that the sand was wet before I got it home and I was wondering if it’s still fine to just put in the tank or if there is anything I need to do to it first

Personally, I have used play sand that was wet in the bag. Full disclosure - it also sat on my front porch for an entire calendar year, wet, frozen, thawed, repeat (Canada LOL). As long as it doesn't smell or look funky when you open the bag, I would say it will be fine.
