And that really is a great way to think of it, that the sub is going to hide it.

Cheaper tanks usually have permanent damage, but at least with hermits it can often be disguised! Once you have it set up you'll forget about it.

New tank set up! Still adding stuff but calcium line was hidden by the substrate.

Thanks!! I'm having a hard time getting the thermometer to stick. I've tried 3m strips and super strong velcro. Right now it's just sitting on top of the humid hideout.
