Should I use a storage bin for a tank?

This is where you discuss the conditions of your crabitat -- temperature, humidity, substrate, decorating, etc.

I used a 10 gallon for the first couple of years I had my crabs. Your current tank has room for more sub for sure, and you can cut the plants to be shorter. If you are having a hard time with humidity, get rid of the lamp, seal the top, and add an UTH to the back of the tank. Also mixing more EE into your sand will boost the humidity.
Okay thank you!

So thank you everybody for all the help! I just wanted to update everybody. So I am not getting a bin. After you guys told me the cons. I took some time to think and I diced not to risk my crabbies safety and or health. I am going to try and add more substrate slowly(so I don't kill the shelf they are on). I also want to get some vines(I really want to try potho vines),hammocks, and hopefully a new second level. I will talk to my Mom about getting a stronger shelf and then after hopefully get them a bigger fish tank. Thank you guys so much I am really happy I listened to you guys, and I hope this post in this forum will help more people in the future. Thank you again!
