I put Persephone back in the tank from iso, she doesn't look soft anymore, now she looks like she needs to go down for a molt. I'm sitting next to the tank watching to make sure no one hurts her and to monitor her cuz I'm worried. I feel like her time in iso was hard on her, like she went downhill instead of up. She is asleep right now in her very own coco hut, up front where I can see if any one goes near her. Here is a picture of her before she curled up for a napImage she is now a tan light color instead of her usual bright color, and the color faded in iso. I'm worried, probably get no sleep tonight.

Looking at the pic of Yeti I noticed they have created a potty in between the glass and the cholla. How am I gonna clean that mess?

You could use a long stirstick or very narow painbrush to brush it out the side of the narrow space & then scoop.

I was the same way, Kieagcarm, but I have several colonies and even new baby isopods in my tank and they are unable to climb the glass ;) Also, they need similar living conditions as the hermies, so coming out of the tank they would not be able to survive very long. That said, I have yet to find any isopods outside of my tank. They do a wonderful job cleaning the tank and also (knock on wood) I haven't seen any food mites since they've been in there!

Guess what I found in my tank for the first time!!! 5 sprouts of something out of my seed mix from Hugs for Hermits. It's got like 7 different seeds and I noticed two different looking sprouts out of the 5 cute little sprouts. I'm so excited, cuz I assume this means my sub is where it is supposed to be and things are working in there! Yay

So today I ordered some moose poop from wolfnipplechips on etsy, my bigger aiicioo uth(was able to return the smaller one I got in last week), a led night/day light, 60 bags of hermit food from Hugs for Hermits on eBay and a new plant for the tank. Definitely excited.

Persephone is asleep in the moss pit(I put her in there cuz no one goes in it and she just is not ok) but she literally does nothing. She has not moved at all from the spot I put her, she does not come out of her shell at all, but she does not smell and is in her shell, just completely and totally lethargic. I'm at a loss and super worried, night three of sitting up to make sure no one goes near her spot.
Bellatrix has tunneled all over under the sub, this morning I saw her at the very bottom in the front right corner, you could see all of her, and my cat jack sparrow saw trying to eat that corner of the tank! It was so funny. I've seen her in different spots on the very bottom all day, and boy is she loud down there.
No sign of Dixon for a few days.
Athena is asleep in the bowl on top of the rock cave, but otherwise ok.
Yeti is all over the place, dinner was hamburger both cooked and raw in an egg shell and a mix of dried fruits, squid, octopus and seaweed, and Yeti is all over that egg shell. She is sitting in it, really the only thing you can see is a shell on top of half an egg.(camera not working, very mad).

As for the tank, so many holes, think I found a bloom(or maybe it's that color cuz pod the mixture of ee/sand in that spot) seriously didn't realize how much poop they make and mine have designated three potty areas that I cannot get to, back left corner behind T shaped cholla, in between glass & big cholla in right back corner and the food dish. Changed water and food stuff and found more sprouts uber food dish.

OOOH, I forgot I put a piece of pork roast bone in there, with the marrow open on one end and Yeti and Athena have dragged it all over today

So excited, my 8x18 aiicioo uth came, along with my exoterra night/day led lamp and a few little things
Image
Here is what it looks like with the day lightImage
Here is the night
Image
I had to put it on the side so I could put the uth on the back, it's almost as long as the tank and immediately I felt heat from it, unlike the zoomeds I've previously had which took hours to warm properly. Hopefully it works. I took my robe off the tank finally, but I'll put it back if heat doesn't stay where it needs.
Image Athena and Yeti inside the cholla wood, my only two crabs up. Bellatrix has been all over the bottom of the tank the last few days, and I haven't seen Dixon in almost a week. Persephone is still in iso, still not moving or eating. Very stressed.

Question, what is too hot for the crabs?
In the booklet with the uth it says it heats around 92f degrees.

I personally don't like my tank getting too warm. The warmest I let it get before I unplug the heater is 88. I do have two e's though. I prefer that it stays around 85/86 and not higher. Today I took the reflectix of the sides of my tanks.

Edit - Great pictures! I'll keep praying for her!

Looks like some nice crabby goods I'm the same with GB, I keep my tank anywhere between 81-85 degrees. With the warmer weather coming in, I had to take down the front reflectix as well, temps were creeping up !

I've asked the temp question before but I think it got overlooked. I'm glad I still have the zoomed uth for summer if this one heats as well as it claims. My room stays cool in the winter cuz my bedroom and my daughters bedroom share one vent for heat, which ids why I've struggled with the temp(plus the low heating zoomed) but back in Oct the zoomed kept it perfect. In summer in gets hot in here, cuz the sharing vent for ac.
