My mom has these plastic vines from hobby lobby here, and she said I could use some of them, are they safe? They're plastic. Can I boil them for like 20 seconds to clean them?ImageImage

Plastic plants are fine! :) no need to boil them- just rinse in dechlorinated water Image

Just make sure to run your fingernail across a few leaves to check for paint. Some are made using colored plastic and are actually using the same molds as ones made for pets, but I found many in the craft stores have also been painted to give them more depth. Those should be avoided!

Interesting!! Good to know! I didn't know they even made kind like that!

I'll mention that you may find boiling will equate to 'melting' the plastic.
