What is this growing in my tank

Post by Hermiesguardian » Sat Nov 04, 2017 3:09 pm

I noticed this today growing only from underneath this piece of driftwood. I got it from a pet store and have had it for awhile. I assume they may be from flax seed that I feed them but I looked it up. Doesn't look like flax seedlings. Should I pluck them out or can the crabbies eat it?ImageImage

It is hard to tell from the picture, but the flaxseed is the likely culprit. Many of us allow the seeds that we feed our crabs to sprout. As far as I know, this has been a safe practice, and it brings a little Greenery to the tank.
