HCA: Hermit Crab Association

I bought a hemp net for climbing. I searched a bunch of posts, but can't find how to clean it before putting it in the tank. I usually clean things with a vinegar and water solution and/or boil them, then rinse with RO water....not sure if I can do that with the hemp net or not. Thanks!

Hi I was just wondering where you bought your net from? If you search up "land hermit crab hemp nets" online, there is a store that comes up called "Hermiefun.com" that sells hemp nets for Hermit crabs, and they hand wash all of their hemp nets before selling them. Hope this helps!

It's hermiefun.miiduu.com. I just got a purple net from them.

For future reference, just a quick dunk in water - many reccomend salt to reduce mould growth - let it air dry and you're good to go.
