Thinking Aloud

With my upgrade coming in the mere future, I am just thinking about something.
I am moving to a 55 gallon soon, but I need to find a proper stand first.
Before I upgrade, I just want to enjoy my old crabitat before I tear it down.
Here's what it includes, and what I have.
36x16x7.5-16
26 gallon tank
8 inches of substrate when flat.
Currently, have a high and low of 6"-12"
I just rearranged yesterday, but I am not quite happy with what I did because I was short on time when it came to decorating.
Would it be okay to redo again today, I just don't want to frazzle out my crabbies. I don't usually stress them out, as I don't really handle them but once every time I rearrange.
Here's my basic plan for a terrain redo.
I want to create a middle area with the pools that just about are the width of the middle of the tank. I wanted to use a ZooMed turtle dock to create a bridge over the pools so they can cross without having to dunk through the water each time.
Could I use gorilla glue to attach the docks to the side of the tank to act as a floating ledge? I realize that it has toxic fumes, but it's scentless after drying for a while.
If I can use it, I'll take the crabs away from the smell, and keep them warm with a Ziploc baggie filled with hot water, in a little container with some substrate.
They wouldn't be in there more than an hour. So, kind of like a short-lived iso tat.
I'll do everything else as normal, plants, and wood. I have two cool pieces of cork bark, so I also have plants for that.
What do you think?
I'll post pictures too!
