Way too foggy

I not a long time ago finally realized that putting a tube into a humidifier greatly improves the humidity in a tank. But with that pipe came some problems. First of all, it gets REALLY foggy in there. Second, the water in the crabs drinking tubs (whatever they are called) evaporate really quickly now (they used to last much longer). If anyone knows how to delete the fog, then please tell me how, because my crabs seem to not like it much.

The fog happens because the air in the tank is warmer and dryer than the air coming from the humidifier. Warm water might help prevent it from being visible, but the humidifier is doing what it is supposed to - releasing a lot of moisture.

In my tanks, the evening fogging was always party time. They loved it! They all came out of hiding to eat, and many would sit at the tube and drink the condensation.

I don't know why your pools are evaporating faster, except that your tank may be dryer than you realize. Using a humidifier makes them evaporate more slowly, so it would not be the cause.

My Humidifier does have an option for either warm or cool mist... I'll try that.

Edit: that didn't work
