Wow! I’ve never seen one of them growing in my tank before! Have you added any plants in your tank, or has the mushroom just appeared?

Ah, yes it’d be a good idea to just check the substrate and make sure that there isn’t any water pooling at the bottom. Could also be a result of the crabs burying some of their food. Do you provide seeds for them to eat? I found that when I used to add seeds to their food, I would find sprouts of grass growing in my tank because they would bury the seeds.

I get mushrooms on a fairly regular basis. It doesn't mean anything, other than there was a spore on something along the way. You can get them randomly in houseplants, too!
