New 75 gallon

Post by ha_haley » Mon May 28, 2018 6:59 pm

Upgrading my starter 10 gallon tank to a 75 gallon tank! I got a great deal on a used one, the only issue is it needs cleaned badly :( I feel like I’ve tried everything to get the hard water build up off the tank, does anyone have tricks to remove it?

Also, I’d definitely appreciate any decorating ideas anyone would like to give me :D I upgraded a lot faster than I was expecting and I have no idea how to fill this much space.

Awesome find!!!

If a straight razor doesn't remove the buildup, then the glass is likely etched and nothing will help. :/

I was afraid of that :| oh well, it’s mainly on one side and I’ll just put the worst side to the back and cover it with something!

Congratulations on the upgrade! I always have loved a fresh lemon! :) Cut it in half and use the lemon as a scrubber. The natural juice is acidic to cut through hard water stains. :)
