I have a whisper airpump, and it’s laid on top of my tank hood, where it fits perfectly on the rim. It’s constantly changing pitches and getting louder which concerns me. Could the vibration be harmful to my molters? It’s already caused a plastic vine to fall down.
I can change it if needed!

My bubbler is loud, but I leave it hanging.
One or hopefully two Clypeatus
Goodbye my little E. See you soon.
Bye Fred. You lasted almost 4 years with me. Hope you're with my E now! See you soon Reeba as well. I can't believe I lost you only after a month.

How long have you had it? Try contacting the company about it. They come with one year warranties. If it hasn’t been too long, and you have the box & receipt you might be able to exchange at the store.
No, it will not disturb your molters.
In the meantime, try placing something under it to help with the vibration.

Okay, thanks! I will use a soft towel to buffer it.GotButterflies wrote:How long have you had it? Try contacting the company about it. They come with one year warranties. If it hasn’t been too long, and you have the box & receipt you might be able to exchange at the store.

Perhaps you just aren't used to the noise then. Sometimes the way you prop it can help keep it more quiet than other ways.

I used a soft rag, which fixed the noise issue!GotButterflies wrote:Perhaps you just aren't used to the noise then. Sometimes the way you prop it can help keep it more quiet than other ways.
